Mrs. Sophia Theek, widow of John Theek, died this morning at 10:30 o'clock at the age of 91 years old 6 months, at her home, 426 New York avenue, of general debility. She is survived by five children, August, of Chicago, Miss Fredericka, at home, and William, Mrs. Herman Abitz and Herman of this city. Twelve grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Maria Bennke, Germany also survive her. Mrs. Theek:, was born October 29, 1822 in Warrenberg, Province Saxen, Germany. She arrived In this country with her husband and four children in 1866, coming directly to this city where
she has lived since. The funeral will be private and will be held Sunday afternoon from her late home. The Rev. C. P. Schulte officiating. Interment will take place in the Lutheran cemetery. Her husband died nine years ago at the age of 86 years.
