For many years "Bud" drove a school bus in Carroll Co. He also ran a local grocery store in Roopville "Dean Grocery" as well as raising cattle and chickens. He was a member of the Goshen Lodge and Roopville Baptist Church. He was well loved by not only family but my the community. Bud served in Korea (Base Command). He had four children, Vivian Rebecca Dean Merrill, Linda Arlene Dean Elkins, Steven George Dean, and Beverly Elaine Dean Kruse.
