Mrs. Agnes Morris, 86, former Jefferson City resident, died Thursday in San Antonio, Texas. Born Aug. 25, 1871, she was married Aug 29, 1894, to William Morris, who died Nov. 14, 1935.
Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. David Blythe.
Surviving are two sons, Joe Morris, Jefferson City and Frank Morris, Kansas City; six daughters, Mrs. Charles Smith, Greentop; Mrs. C.C. Wilkerson, West Palm Beach, Fla.; Mrs. Eugene Sibold, Westgate, Iowa; Mrs. Truman Jones, Houston, TEx.; Mrs. Gerald Whitney, Clemens, Neb.; and Mrs. E.N. Reynolds, San Antonio; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at a local funeral home. Services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Cathedral with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J.A. Vogelweid officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
