80, of Winchester, widow of Verland M. Crowe, passed away on Wed., Sept. 18, 2013 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Mrs. Crowe was born in Powell Co., KY on Nov. 14, 1932 to the late Joe and Gracie Patrick Hardy. She was a floor worker at Loma Manufacturing for 35 years and attended the Vaughn's Mill First Church of God.
Survivors include her daughter, Wilma (Marshall) Corum of Winchester; grandchildren, Marshall Allen Corum, Jeff Corum, Tammy and Gerald Frye, Charles and Melissa Corum, David Brandon and Robin Crowe, and Jessica Hatton; 17 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Beulah (John) Yates and Alice Crowe; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Mason David Crowe; adopted son, Alvin Taylor Crowe; and her grandson, Mark Epperson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 21 at Scobee Funeral Home by Bro. Gary Mathis. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Corum, Charles Corum, Marshall Allen Corum, Gerald Frye, Ryan Frye, Aaron Frye, and Brandon Crowe. Honorary pallbearers will be Taylor Epperson, Maddie Epperson, Mason Crowe, Ashlee Crowe, Lanee Crowe, Brittany Corum, Zach Corum, John Marshall Corum, Charlie Corum, Brooke Corum, Landon Corum, Halee Corum, and Ariel White.
