Alice was born May 27, 1925, in Reader, W.Va., a daughter of the late Bruce and Amy Sheets Burgess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Koch; and six brothers, William, Charles, Bernard, Max, Sherrel, and Jim Burgess.
Alice is survived by one son, of Dennison, Ohio; two daughters; one brother of Loreto, Tenn.; three sisters; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Everhart Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond, on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m., where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Gary Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
