Monroe, the baby son of Monroe Conner and wife, three miles west of town, died Saturday after an illness covering more than half its life of 7 months and 17 days. It was the victim for weeks of almost continuous spasms or choking spell, and so pitiable was is condition that death was certainly a blessing. The funeral was on Sunday from the house, conducted by Rev. J. Herron Miller, with interment on the hill.
