Mrs. Ellen R. Bow
CALDWELL — Services for Mrs. Ellen Rush Bow, 82, of Caldwell, Route 3, who died Tuesday morning in her home, will be conducted at Peckham-Dakan-Davis chapel Friday at 2:30 p. m. The Rev. David W. Albright and the Rev. Dr. H. H. Hayman will officiate and interment will be at Canyon Hill.
Mrs. Bow was born Sept. 5, 1874, in Berkesville, Ky., and was married Aug. 13, 1891, at Bow, Ky., to Stephen F. Bow. In 1909, the couple moved to White Wright, Texas, and later returned to Berkesville before coming to Caldwell in 1911 in an emigrant car. They farmed in the Marble Front community from 1912 to 1917, when they moved to the present family home.
She was a member of Liberty Methodist church of Bow and of the Rebekah lodge.
Surviving, in addition to her husband. are two sons, La Fayette Bow of Lakefork, Idaho, and John A. Bow of Caldwell; five daughters, Mrs. Ruth Corbett of Parma, Mrs. Carrie Shore of San Fernando, Calif., Mrs. Winifred Wagoner in Nevada, Mrs. Irene Lowe of St. Maries, Idaho, and Mrs. Anna Faye be Monnin of Spokane, Wash., and 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
