Catherine Burns Braly, 92, of Pulaski died Oct. 30, 2015.
She was born in Giles County April 19, 1923, and lived her life in the Bodenham community. She was a retired employee of the Giles County Board of Education, a member of Mt. Moriah Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Alexander and Myrtle Inez Miles Burns; husband James Robert Braly; sisters, Carolyn Burns Kelley and June Burns Richardson; and brother Miles Burns.
Funeral services were to have been held today (Sunday) at Mt. Moriah Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Debbie Eubanks and Steve Nave officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Survivors include daughters, Bettye Braly Greene and husband Terrell of Lavergne, Connie Braly Woods and husband Dwight of Lawrenceburg, Jamie Braly Marks and husband Dickson of Pulaski; sisters, Corinne Burns Ciborowski, Mary Ann Burns Mize, both of Pulaski; brother Robert Burns and wife Clara of Pulaski; seven grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
