Some info from obituary: Henry came to Dansville, MI with his parents and 7 brothers in 1839. Soon after his marriage to Harriet Sprague, they moved to Marion Twp., where they raised their family, losing son, Arthur Newton in infancy. His family is justly proud of their lineage which traces back to Christopher Avery who settled in Groton, CT in the very early colonial days.
Survivors: wife, Harriet, sons, Ernest L of Howell; Harry H. of Chelsea; C. Bruce of Duluth; daughter, Millie now Mrs. Frank Bailey of CA; brother, Joseph of Muskegon.
Interment in Howell Mausoleum.
