Immigrated 1880. Known as Charlie Cone or China Boy newspapers reported he was born in 1868. He was a beloved employee of prominent political leader Douglas Spencer, Marie Louise Cone, and Anna Reppert Cone (wife of Joseph Cone) at the Cone Ranch followed by their private residence from 1890 until his death. As a result, he would not be buried in the segregated Chinese Section at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Red Bluff but rather in Joseph Cone's wife's family plot. His pallbearers were William Foey, Eddie Fong, James Fong, Charlie Long, Yee Sing and Kim Sing.
