Clarence Strodthoff, 70, of 2005 29th Street, Two Rivers, died Tuesday morning, December 23, 1986 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Paul Schumacher will officiate with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Strodthoff was born March 29, 1916 in the Town of Two Rivers, son of the late John and Mary Frasch Strodthoff. He attended Public Schools in Manitowoc and was a 1934 graduate of Lincoln High School. Mr. Strodthoff was employed at Paragon Electric Company as a Plant Engineer. He married the former Hallie Stiefvater on May 17, 1941 at Manitowoc. Mr. Strodthoff was a Veteran of World War II and was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Survivors include his wife, Hallie; a son and a daughter-in-law, John C. and Mary Lou Strodthoff of Green Bay; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Sister Caritas Strodthoff of Zanesville, Ohio, Judith and Duane Bloomquist of Canton, Michigan, Kristine Strodthoff of Madison and Eileen and Julius Davis of Mequon, Wisconsin; a brother, Reuben Strodthoff of Two Rivers; a sister and a brother-in-law, Clara and Edward Bergene of Whitelaw; five grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by a son, Nicky.

Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Home, Two Rivers from 5 pm to 8 pm Friday. Memorial services will be held at 7 pm Friday evening. Memorials may be made to the Oncology Department at Holy Family Medical Center.
