JOHN STRODTHOFF, 75, PASSES AWAY THIS MORNING AT HOSPITAL
John Strodthoff, 75, of 514 Franklin street, passed away early this morning
at the hospital, where he has been a patient for the past five weeks. He is
survived by four daughters, Mrs. Harry Klug of Green Bay, Mrs. Edward Koch,
Mrs. Norman Rank and Mrs. Edward Bergene, all of this city, two sons, Rueben
and Clarence, three sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Behnke, Mrs. Herman Meisner and Mrs.
Bertha Klusmeier, and two brothers, Herman and William.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed but will probably be held Monday
from the Vogelsang funeral home.

Miss Lila Strodthoff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Strodthoff of
Mishicott (sic) and Harry Klug, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Klug of
Gren (sic) Bay, were quietly married at the First Lutheran church
at Two Rivers Monday afternoon, the Rev. Haese officiating at the
wedding ceremony. The couple were attended by Miss Lydia Siegel of
Two Rivers and Reuben Strodthoff, brother of the bride. Following
the ceremony the newlyweds left for a honeymoon trip to Chicago and
other cities and will later take up their home at Kenosha where the
groom holds a position. The bride was formerly employed at the
office of the Manitowoc Seed company while the groom made his home
here for a number of years and was employed at the ship yards and
later by the Major Auto company.
