"Dolores" as family and friends addressed her, was daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Alvah Ingersoll of 820 East 49th Street, Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY. She was the wife of Mr. George Rochford (February 3, 1920 - April 1983), also of Flatbush, Brooklyn. They were wed circa 1950. She was the beloved mother of George P. Rochford (September 21, 1954 - April 8, 2000), Therese M. (A.K.A. "Terri") Rochford (April 6, 1960 - October 1992) and one other.

Dolores worked her way up from ward clerk to become the director of Central Supply for Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn NY.

Dolores was firm and fierce in her affections. She was a remarkable chief who could make the toughest liver taste like the finest steak. She was an industrious and encouraging individual with a disarming smile, who had a hand in everything.

Dolores died from pancreatic cancer.

If she loved you, it was only once and that was forever.

My sincere gratitude to Wisteria for sponsoring this memorial. I know that Dolores would have appreciated your kindness!
