AN OLD TIMER PASSES AWAY
In the death of Mr. John Milne, of Markerville, an old resident of that district passed away. Mrs. Milne had resided in that part of Alberta for the last twenty years. Mr. Milne died fourteen years ago, and was buried at Didsbury, Alta., where the interment of Mrs. Milne took place on Sunday afternoon, November 7th. Mrs. Milne leaves to mourn her death six children--John, who resides at Alhambra; George, residing at Markerville; Duncan, residing at Didsbury. The daughters are, Mrs. Johnston, Washington, U.S.; Mrs. Bjornson, Moure, N.D., U.S.; Mrs. McDonald, Big Forks, Ont. The funeral was largely attended by friends of the family, many cars falling in line as the cortege proceeded on its way from Markerville to the cemetery at Didsbury. The family will have the sympathy of the whole community in which Mrs. Milne has lived for so many years.

Died, at the home of her grand-daughter, Mrs. Albert Thompson, Markerville, Mrs. Catherine Milne, wife of John Milne (deceased), aged 78. The funeral was held on Sunday, November 7th, interment taking place in the Cemetery at Didsbury, where the remains were laid to rest beside that of her husband. Rev. Mr. Cregg, of Didsbury, officiating.
