CAMBRIDGE CITY -- Gail Mann, 72, a former Cambridge City resident, passed away on Saturday evening, Aug. 29, 2009, at Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tenn.

A daughter of the late Virgil and Leona Smith Davidson, Gail was born in Pershing, Ind., on July 17, 1937. She was a pharmacy technician, licensed in Indiana and Florida.

Gail had lived in Cambridge City and Hagerstown while working for Hooks/Rexall drug stores in Cambridge City and Knightstown. She and her husband, Ervin, moved to Florida in 1994 and have made their home in Nashville, Tenn., for the past five years. Gail was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ervin J. Mann. They were married in Pershing on June 12, 1954; four children, April (Boyd) Mozingo of Amboy, Robert (Ann) Mann of Aurora, Barry Mann of Atlanta, Ga., and Olaf Normark Mann of Miami Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Derrick (Heather) Mann, Cassandra "Cassi" (Joe) Tramm, Amber Mann and Daniel Mozingo; two great-grandchildren, Sarah and Camden; one sister, Ruth Ann Ammon of Winter Park, Fla.; one brother, Jim Davidson of Witman, Mass.; sister-in-law, Jimmie Sue Davidson of Pershing; several nieces and nephews.

Gail was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil R. and Marion Davidson.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will follow at Zion's Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, at the funeral home.
