Bob Allen, age 76, of Piedmont, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born January 20, 1937 at Piedmont, the son of Raymond and Emma (Wheeling) Allen. A lifelong resident of Piedmont, he was a graduate of the Piedmont High School and served in the the US Army from 1959 to 1961.
Preceding him in death are his parents, two brothers, Michael Allen and Ray Lee Allen and one sister, Jessie Ann Allen.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Allen, of Kansas City, KS, one brother, Jim Allen, of St. Charles, MO and 2 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 11:30 Friday at the Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 Friday at the chapel with Bro. Jack Ruble and Bro. Darrell Silvy officiating.
Burial with Military Honors will be in the New Liberty Cemetery near Piedmont.
