Mrs.Walter(Marie Walden) Conley,82 of Windsor died 10:53 pm Friday, Sept.16 in Hawthorne Lodge nursing home, Sullivan. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Lawrence G. Beebe at 2 pm Monday in Lovins-Lockart chapel, Windsor with Mrs Elaine Stratton at the organ.
Pallbearers were Orville Schultz,Toby Bennett,Russell Curry,Glenn Shadow, Frank Warren and Harold Temleton.
Burial was in the Windsor cemetery.
Mrs.Conley was born Feb. 28, 1895 near Windsor, daughter of Harlin and Minnie Walden. She was a member of the Womans club of Windsor,American Legion Auxiliary and Windsor Christian church.
She married Walter Conley in 1916. He died in 1973. Surviving are son, Harlin of Phoenix,Az.,daughters, Mrs Roberta Curry of Lovington,Mrs. Rosalie Davis of Heidenlberg,Germany, brothers, Aubrey Walden of Hallsville, Mo.,Jean Walden of Windsor,Dewey Walden of Flint, Mich.,nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
One brother and one sister preceded her in death.
