JOSEPH S. ROBBINS ;
Water Co. Official

MILLVILLE- Joseph S. Rob-
bins, 82, of Camden, died Tues-
day in his home after a short
illness.
Formerly of Millville, he had
been the superintendent of the
Woodbine Water Co. until he re-
tired 10 years ago.
Surviving are his wife Jen-
nie G.; six daughters, Miss Vera
Robbins of Absecon, Mrs. So-
phie Poley of Pleasantville, Mrs.
Mrs. Martina Lutz of Penns Grove,
Mrs. Marion Rice of Steelman-
town, Mrs. Josephine Jackson
of Hibbing, Minn., and Mrs. Al-
berta Chiappini of Prescott,
Ariz.; two sons Ralph of Cam-
den and Paul of Deptford; two
sisters, Miss Della Robbins of
Haddon Heights and Mrs. Lou-
ise Smallwood of Absecon.
Funeral services will be held
at 11 a.m. Friday at a Millville
funeral home. Burial will be in
Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Joseph Sheldon Robbins had step-children. His second wife Jennie Gertrude Scherff also lost her husband, Frank Ludwig Stock, around the same time as Joseph lost his wife Dorothy Pheobe Tubman. Joseph & Jennie had children previously and children together. This making a total of 13 children.
