Michelle "Micki" Lichtenfeld Reis, native of Gary, Indiana. Had lived in Birmingham, Alabama since 1990. Graduate of Crown Point (Indiana) High School, class of 1976. Earned her BS degree at Purdue University in 1979, and her Masters at Northern Illinois University in 1981. Micki was one of a kind. She had a smile that would light up a room. She was always upbeat and joyous. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Paul Reis, and her son, David Reis. She is also survived by her father, Melvin (Joyce) Lichtenfeld, brothers, Dean (Terri) Lichtenfeld and Bruce (Lori) Lichtenfeld, and sister, Jan (Ira) Chermerinsky. Preceded in death by her Mother, Elaine Lichtenfeld, in January, 1988. Micki leaves behind many other relatives and friends who will never forget her.
