Dave Acklin and Chaplain Andrew Abshire officiating. Interment will follow in Wares Chapel Cemetery, Emerson, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville, LA.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 11, 2013, 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville, LA.
Mr. Mann was born on August 22, 1930 to Gordon P.and Alice Guillory Van Opstal in Shreveport, LA and passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Homer, LA. He was a US Army Veteran, was a successful businessman, having numerous convenient stores and was a great welding fabricator.
He is survived by his son, Louis Mann of Emerson, AR; daughter, Lynn Mann Troquille of Homer, LA; three grandchildren, Justin Michael Troquille of Emerson, AR, Cain Jacob Troquille of Emerson, AR, Lacey Marie Mann of Shongaloo, LA; sister, Marlene Prewit of Shreveport, LA and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Mann was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruthie Owen Mann and son, Michael Prentis Mann.
Pallbearers will be Floyd Ware, Mitch McCarty, Storm Foster, Floyd Bishop, Anthony Puleo and Tino Camacho.
