Frances A. Briolat, age 82, of Cass City, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 at Tendercare, Cass City.
She was born March 9, 1924 in Siegel Township, the daughter of the late Julius and Frances (Makowski) Klebba.
She married Clemence Briolat Sept. 16, 1941 in Parisville. He died Nov. 15, 1992.
Briolat was a lifelong resident of Cass City. She attended Duda Country School. She worked at Tusco, Hamill Manufacturing and Provincial House, all in Cass City.
She is survived by her children: Marion (Larry) White of Saginaw, Marvin (Tracy) Briolat of Davison, Gloria (David) Michalski of Ubly, Yvonne (Garry) Edzik of Cass City and Loretta (Marvin) Smalley of Ruth; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Judd; a great-grandson, Duane Benjamin; and 4 brothers: Martin, Joe, John and Frank Klebba.
Funeral mass was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, at St. Pancratius Catholic Church, Cass City, with Father Steve Fillion as celebrant. Burial was in the Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City.
Arrangements were made by Thabet Funeral Horne, Cass City.
