Born in Lowell, the daughter of the late James C. and Johanna (Collins) Sullivan, she was the widow of John L. Keyes. She was a lifelong resident of the Belvidere section of Lowell and received her education at Notre Dame Academy and Lowell State Teachers College.
She was a teacher in the Lowell School system for the past 20 years.
Surviving her are: a son, Stephen J. Keyes of Lowell and the Massachusetts Department of Public Works; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude T (Robert) Quinn of Yardley, PA., two brothers, Rev. Joseph C. Sullivan of Newburgh, N.Y., and Dr. John A. Sullivan of Lowell; two grandchildren, Robert Quinn and Karen Quinn of Yardley, PA.
