Moses Alderson dated his Will on July 29, 1825 (Hendricks County, Indiana) and names as his heirs: his wife Phebe, the oldest children, Mary M. and Aaron and the youngest children, Harriet and Amos. He also mentions his brother John. Moses states that daughter Mary M. is to have "linens and other items that belonged to her mother, my former wife." Being as Moses sets out oldest and youngest children, Phebe (Ballard), his wife when he died, is probably the mother of his two youngest children.
