Services for Oren Everett Vail, 54, 1004 Elder St. Nampa, who died at a Boise Hospital Monday, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Nampa First Nazarene Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Leonard Gallivan of the First Church of the Nazarene, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, assisted by the Rev. Jim Bond of the College Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be at Kohlerlawn under the direction of the Alsip Chapel.

He was born June 8, 1911, at Brewster, Kan., and came to Nampa with his parents in 1923. He was graduated from high school at Nampa and later attended Northwest Nazarene College. He was married to Jane Schultz at Nampa May 27, 1940. He had made his home in Nampa since 1923 and was a landscape contractor. He died suddenly from cancer. Mr. Vail was a charter member of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are his wife: two sons, Delbert Vail and Darrel Vail, both of Nampa; one daughter, Miss Dianna Vail of Nampa; his mother, Mrs. Arthur Vail of Nampa; four brothers, Marion Vail of Dayton, Ohio, Harley Vail of Meridia, Mexico, Elmore Vail and Virgil Vail, both of Nampa; three sisters, Mrs. Zola Wikstrom of Sioux City, Iowa, Mrs. Velma Blacklock and Mrs. Lois McWaters, both of Nampa. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Vail and a brother, Charles Vail.
