Death Claims Well Known Rancher
Beryl Wilson Came To Valley in 1928
Was Active in Fraternal and Agricultural Activities of This District
Beryl Wilson, for the past seven years a resident of the Van Nuys district and well known in the San Fernando Valley through his activities in fraternal circles and agricultural pursuits died at his home, 15700 Oxnard Street at 5:35PM Friday following a two weeks' illness brought on by a stroke of paralysis.
Although he had continued to take an active interest in business matters up until his last illness two weeks ago Mr. Wilson had not been in good health for some time, having suffered two strokes previous to the one that led to his death. His age was 50 years.
Funeral Service Today
Mr. Wilson is survived by his widow, Mary S. Wilson; by a sister, Mrs. Mamie Lentz of Orange and two brothers, Leo Wilson of Laguna and Oscar Wilson of Santa Ana.
The funeral service was conducted at 11 o'clock this morning at the Schwimley Memorial Chapel by Mr. Filon, Christian Science reader of Santa Ana and interment was in the Fairhaven Cemetery at Santa Ana at 3 o'clock this afternoon in charge of the San Francisco Elks Lodge of which the deceased was a member.
Native of Missouri
Born in Polk County, Missouri August 24, 1885 Mr. Wilson came to California with his parents when but five years of age.
