William Curry was a stone mason, and a very swift workman. His wife was Nancy Lytton, of Rockbridge, and after their marriage (about 1841) they settled in Lewis County. William & Nancy Curry were the parents of the following known children - 2 sons & 5 daughters: Sarah Jane Curry, Wright Burgess Curry, Abram Forrest Curry, Hester Elizabeth Curry, J. Agnes Curry, Emily A. Curry, and infant daughter Curry.

NOTE: Curry Cemetery is located on Big Run in Lewis County, WV, south of Walkersville. About one-half mile south of Walkersville, turn onto Big Run which is on the right side. Go through a covered bridge, bearing then on the main road to the left, go one and one tenth miles. The fenced graveyard is up the hill to the right about 200 yards.
