Medric Auenson
Medric J. "Spud" Auenson, 96, a native of Berwick and resident of Golden Meadow died Wednesday, July 23, 2008.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of Prompt Succur Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by one son, Carol J. Auenson; two daughters, Goldie Danos and Jo Ann A. Bailey; one sister, Sybil A. Mitchell, six grandchildren, seven grandchildren, and one great-grand child.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Barbier Auenson, his parents, James Auenson, Sr. and Eva Comeaux Auenson, three brothers, Lenes, Cornelius, and James Auenson Jr., two sisters, Agatha A. Lamp and Eva A. Theriot; and one grandchild.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
