Alma Welch Maher, 94 of Laurel, MS, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Comfort Care in Laurel, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi, with visitation held prior from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Burial will be in Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Alma is preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Henry Welch and Mary Jane Jennings Welch; brothers, Claude Welch, Clifton Welch, Kiley Welch, Franklin Doc Welch, A.G. Welch, Woodrow Welch, Willie T. Welch, and Sidney Welch; and sisters, Mattie Cole and Lola Ruth Cortese.
She is survived by her children, Alma Jeane Phillips and Billy Wilson Floyd; grandchildren, Rhonda Aguillard, Gwen Layton, Davin Phillips, Richard Phillips, Sonja Stevenson, and Suzanne Severio; great grandchildren, Dustin Layton, Destiney Pates, Lexis Phillips, Lauren Phillips, Lorelle Phillips, Levi Phillips, Landon Phillips, Jeremy Spears, Michael Magyar, Jacob Bagwell, Kimberly Aguillard, Maegan Stevenson, Marissa Stevenson, Lee Severio, Chris Severio; and great great grandchildren, Raegan Jeane Pates, Titus Phillips, Kenyon Phillips, Kolby Spears, Briahna Spears, Jayden Spears, Leland Severio, Logan Magyar, Layla Bentley, and Ace Troy Phillips.
