The Monthly Mortuary Report in the Columbus Republican states, "Jane Lee, March 4, aged 72, county, old age." According to her headstone, she would be 69 years old.

OBIT:

Mrs. Jennie Lee, lately made a widow by the death of Col. T. G. Lee, died on Tuesday last at her home near Clifford.

Mrs. Lee had been in poor health ever since the death of her husband, and her decease was not unlooked for. We are not acquainted with the particulars of Mrs. Lee's death.
