For the former Carol Bailey and her husband, Paul U. Halbmaier, 1826 Forest avenue, it wasn't so much a matter of chance. "I saw my future husband at dances quite often," Mrs. Halbmaier admits, "and he impressed me so terrifically that I arranged to be introduced to him! We dated each other for five years, including three years of engagement. We even had our home built before we were married so that when we came back from the honeymoon, we moved right in."
