Mrs. Snyder, 72, Ill Long, Dies
Mrs. Ethel Jones Snyder, 72, of 911 Highland Rd. died in a local nursing home yesterday morning after an extended illness.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Canova Bible Class.
Mrs. Snyder was a lifelong resident of Charleston and was the widow of the late Alvin L. Snyder.
Surviving are two sons. Alvin Snyder Jr. and Paul A., both of Charleston; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Hicks of Charleston and Mrs. E. C. Lieble of South Charleston; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Barlow-Bonsall mortuary chapel with Rev. Robert W. Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
The body is at the mortuary.
