T Branty Alford was originally interred at New Home Full Gospel Cemetery (Highway 308). In or around 2004, his double marker stone at New Home Full Gospel Cemetery and Mr. Alford were moved to Gethsemane by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Mrs. Alford passed away in 2004.

GALIVANT'S FERRY-Thomas Branty Alford, 86, retired farmer, died Tuesday in a Mullins hospital. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Home No. 2 Church Cemetery.
Mr. Alford was born in Horry County, a son of Louis H Alford and Galvin McCrackin Alford.
Surviving are his wife, Rose Ella Allen Alford; three sons, Paul L. Alford and Donza L. Alford, both of Lancaster, and Roger Alford of Galivant's Ferry; two daughters; Eloise Johnson of Lancaster and Rosie Lewis of Loris; and 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
