Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Dexter, May 3, for Mrs. Daisy Gee Arnold, 70, who died April 30 at a Waterville hospital after a long illness. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
Mrs. Arnold, the widow of George Arnold, was born in Dexter, May 8, 1878, one of 10 children of Frank and Elizabeth (Snow) Gee. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Portland.
Before her marriage, Mrs. Arnold taught several years in the Dexter rural schools. Starting in 1899 in the Jones District No. 3, she taught through 1904 in the Spooner, Barton and Haseltine districts.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Frances Folley of Free street, Dexter, formerly of Bradford
