The son of Moses and Olive (Beaudet) Hall, Thomas Hall was born on January 27th, 1862 in Tingwick Township, Québec Province, where he was baptized in Saint Patrice Catholic Church eleven days later. Following his early years in the township, Thomas emigrated with his family to Saco, Maine in 1868, where he became a U.S. citizen on March 8th, 1894. A life-long house painter, he married Margaret Curtin of Cork, Ireland on September 19th, 1893 in Biddeford, Maine, and to this union were born six children: James Andrew Hall, Olive Anna Hall (Renouf), Isabelle Hall (Travis), Helen Gertrude Hall (Norton), Walter A. Hall and Beatrice Louise Hall (McCarn).
