Troy, IL--Mrs. Emilea W. Isenberg, wife of Emil Isenberg, Sr., died at her home in Troy, last Sunday at 10:45 p.m. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Wilhelmina [Opel] Heck. She was born in Collinsville on December 13, 1875. When a small girl she came to Troy and spent the remainder of her life here. On June 14, 1903, she was united in marriage to Emil Isenberg at the Troy Lutheran church of which she was a member and also of its Ladies aid.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Evan [Edna] Evans of St. Louis, Mo.; five sons, Emil, Jr. of Troy, Bernhard, of St. Louis; August, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Victor, of Beecher; and Elmer, of Bidford, Maine; one brother, Conrad Heck of Gillespie, and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran church, with Rev. A.C. Meier officiating. Six nephews served as pallbearers. Interment was in the Friedens cemetery.
