Mrs. Wilma Adams Moore, a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away peacefully on November 9, 2013.
Wilma leaves to cherish her memories three loving and devoted sons, Monte C. Moore (Jacqueline), Huntsville, AL, Shelby F. Moore, King of Prussia, PA and Jesse L. Moore, Fort Worth, TX; two daughters, Louise M. King (Solomon), Detroit, MI and Vanessa Moore, Montgomery, AL. She raised her nephew, Mark Hammonds and niece, Laurie A. Gipson (Jason, Sr.) from birth as her own children, and they referred to her as mother. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Jennifer King, Chloe A. Moore, Joshua C. Moore, Shelby C. Williams, Dah'Varrez Beaver, Jason O. Gipson, Jr., and Landon C. Gipson; two nephews, Michael Hammonds and David (Patricia) Hammonds; brother, Leu Wandeau Hammonds; brothers-in-law, Milton Moore and Booker T. Moore and sisters-in-law, Lannie Bowen and Ardelia McGhee (Johnnie), whom she loved as her sister. She also leaves behind Mary Alice Marshall, a beloved friend and neighbor of over 60 years and a host of beloved family and friends.
Funeral services will be held November 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM from Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Eastwood Memorial Gardens.
