Margaret Joyce Peggy Harrand, age 72, Porterfield, WI, died at Rennes Health Center West of Peshtigo, WI, on Oct. 31, 2007. She was born Dec. 8, 1934 in Peshtigo, WI to the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer (Rose) Couvillion.
She married Ron Harrand on Sept. 20, 1952. The couple was self-employed running the business United Products on Hwy. 64 for 22 years.
Survivors include a son Lon (Eileen) Harrand of Stephenson, MI;
a daughter Mrs. Steve (Debbie) Nikolas of North Prairie;
a brother Robert "Cubby" (Patty) Couvillion of Peshtigo, WI;
two sisters: Pat Uecke of Menominee, MI and Mrs. Gaylord (Charlotte) King of Silver Cliff, WI;
five grandchildren;
many nieces and nephews;
and a special friend, Mary Carviou.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on June 7, 2000, and a brother-in-law, Russell Uecke.
Visitation was held Sunday, Nov. 4 at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home in Peshtigo from 4 to 7 p.m. Visitation continued on Monday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Sister Helen Plum, SSND officiating. Burial was in Peshtigo Riverside Cemetery.
