MRS. MROTEK DIES AT HOME
Eight Sons And Five Daughters Survive Her


Mrs. Joseph Mrotek, 65, a resident of Manitowoc since 1887, suffered a sudden heart attack early Sunday as she slept at her home, Madison and South 19th streets. She was found dead by her son Luke, when he went to call her for the morning meal.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from St. Mary's Catholic church.

The deceased whose maiden name was Sophia Jagodzinsky was born in Poland in 1869. She was married in 1887 to Joseph Mrotek and since then they made this city their home. Mr. Mrotek died in 1927.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. P Betauski, and Sister N. Emily, both of Chicago, Mrs. A. Cauclev, Mrs. J. Sobczak and Mrs. L. Strzysewski, all of Milwaukee; and eight sons, Stanley and Thaddeus, Chicago; Leon, California; George, Milwaukee; Alex E., Edmund, Luke and Max C., all of this city.

The body is at the Leschke funeral home and may be viewed there up to the hour of the funeral.
