MRS. L.A. EDWARDS
LIBERTY -- Mrs. Vevie Williams Edwards, 82, of 145 W. Patterson Ave. died Wednesday at her home.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Loflin Funeral Home. .
She was a member of First Baptist Church and a native of Randolph County.
Surviving are husband, L. Edwards; daughters, Mrs. Frank Kemper and Mrs. Horace Whitfield of Greensboro; sisters, Mrs. Cosie Holmes of Lumberton, Mrs. Nina Scott of Liberty; two grandchildren.
The family will be at Loflin Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today.

LIBERTY - Funeral for Mrs. Vevie Williams Edwards, 82, of 145 W. Patterson Ave., who died Wednesday, will be 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Reginald Dawkins and the Rev. Alton Cook officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Greensboro.
