Charlotte moved with her family to Adams, Berkshire, Massachusetts during her childhood.

On October 29, 1887, in the Town of Pittsfield, Berkshire, Massachusetts, the Rev. Dr. C. D. Hills, married Charlotte Kay of Adams, Berkshire, Massachusetts, and Wilfred A. Anthony, a member of one of Adams' oldest and most respected families.

Charlotte was a member and past Noble Grand of Golden Lent Rebekah Lodge where she held the honor of being the oldest living past Noble Grand.

She was known to be a kind and giving woman, who during World War II, was a generous donor to the local War Relief Fund.

Following a long illness. Charlotte died in Wilfred's family homestead where she and Wilfred lived and raised their family since 1892.
