Luther Edward Geren, age 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday at the family residence. Mr. Geren was born on January 1, 1930 and was the son of the late Sallie Mae Graham Geren and Leonard Geren. His wife of 63 years, Betty Jean Geren, his sister, Neva June Geren, his brothers, Dean, Gean and D.L. Geren and his nephew, Tom Geren also preceded him in death. Mr. Geren was a retired Teamster from Cleveland Express and he was a U. S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He enjoyed golf and working in his yard.
Interment will be conducted Saturday morning at 10:00 from the Candies Creek Church Cemetery with Coby Goins, Mitch Humphreys, Mack Suits, Joe Joe Collins, Cory Collins and David Wright serving as pallbearers.
