Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Round Valley Methodist Church for Patrick M Goodwin, a lifelong Covelo resident. He died Sunday at a Willits hospital at age 69.
A member of Round Valley Grange, he leaves his wife, Mae, a brother Henry of Sacramento, and a sister, Mary Brown of Covelo. Six step children also survive; James, Oliver, Vernon and John Eden, Maxine Wilson and Carmelita Michael, as do 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

A woodsman by trade, Mr Goodwin was born in Covelo and lived there all his life. He was a member of the Round valley Grange No 805, and served with the US Army in World War II.
