SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life, of Corene Cryer, 82, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the funeral home.
Corene was born on February 12, 1931 to William and Loduskie Cobb and passed away on November 23, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of Shreveport and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Mary Sprawls, son James Gamble, III her siblings, Mary Pizza, W. O. Cobb, Jr. and Sybil Saffel. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Leo Cryer; daughters, Margaret Koch and Kathy Lambert; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Moore.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
