Reita Allen Hornaday, 82, of Well Spring Retirement Community died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the Richardson Auditorium at Well Spring. The family will receive friends following the service.
Reita was a native of Richmond, Va., but she lived most of her life in Greensboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, James M. and Virginia Allen Hornaday and her twin sister, Martha H. Murray. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Her sister, Mrs. Berkeley H. Harris and husband, George; brother-in-law Dr. William Gray Murray; nieces Virginia Knox, Berkeley Gardner, Martha Milton; and nephews, Parker Harris, W. Gray Murray Jr. and Jimmy Murray survive her.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 607 N. Elm Street, Greensboro 27401 or to a charity of your own choosing.
Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Funeral Home is assisting the family.
