Mary was astrong, independent woman & she raised her children on her own. She worked @ Cottage Hospital for a short time as well as holding various jobs elsewhere, but spent most of her working years 2 Bonita Packing. She worked hard to provivde for her children, and was proud of them & what she had to offer them; not only in material items, but also more importantly in the character traits she in stalled them. Mary was always cooking for anyone who stopped by to visit. She liked to crochet, 7 collect knick knacks, but most of all she love to have her family aroundher for any type of gathering big or small. Mary had so many stories to share w/ ev'eryone abt her life, which spanned so many years, that most of us only read abt events in books that she actually lived through.
