Son of Joseph and Emelie Duquette, of Mattawa, Ontario.


6 January, 1917 enlists in 228th Battalion (Northern Fusiliers), Canadian Expeditionary Force.

8 March, 1917 after sailing to England in December 1916, the battalion becomes the 6th Battalion, Canadian Railway Troops. 

5 May, 1917 deploys to the front with the 6th Battalion CRT.

1 November, 1917 killed in action near Comines, Belgium.
