Daily Courier, Connellsville, Pennsylvania, Mon 17 Jul 1944: "Hugh Thomas McMahon, foreman of the Queen City Brewing Company at Cumberland died Saturday afternoon at his home at 628 North Centre street, Cumberland Md., alter a brief illness. He was a sergeant in the First World War. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Kearney McMahon; two sons, three daughters, one sister and two brothers, including Philip McMahon of Connellsville. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Patrick's Church there."
