Graveside services for Madeline Brown Brooker age 94 of Crockett will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Refuge Cemetery with Rev. Randy Shipman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mrs. Brooker died Tuesday at Winfield Nursing Center in Crockett. She was born March 26, 1919 in Houston County to Otis and Mina Owens Brown. She was retired from Western Electric in Houston. She was a member of Sunset Christian Church. Mrs. Brooker was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert Brooker, two sisters, Lura Mae Brown, and Ouita Hayes, two brothers, Harley "Buster" Brown and Kennedy "Doc" Brown brothers-in-law, V.E. "Bubba" Murray and Harry Hayes and a sister-in-law Leona Brown. She is survived by her sister Jerrie Murray of Crockett and a sister-in-law Doris Brown of Grapeland
