Delphia was born September 11, 1922, in Campbell, MO, the daughter of James Connis Goodwin and wife Chlora, nee Nelson.
Delphia worked as a secretary. She was a member of New Florence Methodist Church. Delphia loved to play bridge with her friends and enjoyed bowling and crafts. She was a wonderful mother and loved her grandchildren with all her heart.
Delphia is survived by one son, Don (Rita) Wilcoxon, Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Connie (Bill) Taynor, Jonesburg; one brother, Daryel Lacy, Sun City, Calif.; one sister, Evah Nell Huie, Kennett; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wilcoxon; parents, James and Chlora Goodwin; and one sister, Gaylan Lacy.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 106 W. Lions, Jonesburg, MO 63351. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383, are preferred.
