Graveside services for Jack McGee will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park.Jack was born on Valentines Day in 1926 and passed away on December 28, 2004. He and his loving wife, Dorothy raised four boys, Jack, John, Neal and Mike, while working in the construction trade for 40 years.Jack was a WWII veteran, he worked for DICCO, Inc. until they were bought by Granite Construction where he worked as general superintendent until he retired.He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Dorothy. Jack is survived by his sister, Laverne; his four sons and their wives, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to his grandsons foundation: James Latham McGee Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o CSUB, Attn: W. Michael Chertok, 9001 Stockdale Highway, Bakersfield, CA 93311-1099.
